LITERACY
A4 word card- an A4 word card with words and pictures for the children to use when writing about the story
Alphabet- a lovely alphabet line on different coloured hats
Writing sheets- a set of writing sheets with borders for the children to write on and use in the writing area
Label the hat- write the labels for the different things on Mrs Honey’s hat
Speech bubble worksheets- fill in the speech bubbles to show what Mrs Honey is saying
Favourite part if the story- draw and write about your favourite part of the story
Describe the hat- write some sentences to describe Mrs Honey’s hat
Worksheets- worksheets to match words to pictures and write the initial sounds

NUMERACY
Number line- a number line to 50 on colourful hat pieces
Counting worksheets- count the number of objects
Order the days of the week- cut and stick the day cards in order
Size ordering- cut and order the hats by size
Counting cards- count the hats from1-10
Estimation cards- estimate and then count the number of objects on each card

GAMES
Matching pairs- match the pictures to play matching pairs or snap
Picture bingo- cover the different pictures from the story

Make a hat- make a before and after hat by cutting and sticking the different hat pieces
