The sheets appear to be a set of flashcards or cards for a matching game. Each set of cards has two parts: one card lists the “roots” of a polynomial, and the other card shows the corresponding polynomial expression in factored form.
Card Type 1: Roots Card - These cards list the roots (or zeros) of a polynomial equation. Examples include “ROOT: 3, -1” and “Roots: -3, 6, 2”. Some roots may have a multiplicity, such as “Roots: 4 (mult.2), -1” and “2 (mult.3), -4”.
Card Type 2: Polynomial Card - These cards show the polynomial in its factored form. The factors are written as
(x−root). For example, the roots 3 and -1 correspond to the polynomial
(x−3)(x+1).*
