Position and direction lesson using a pirate map

Lesson plan and resources included. The lesson was taught to a class of high level primary SEND children aged 8-10 but could be used within a primary key stage 1 setting. The planning is included as well as resources, encouraging children to move around the map and speak or write directions to collect the treasure. Picture cards included if you wanted to make it into a game. The pack comes with a letter written to the class to hook them into the lesson.
