Psychology and Abnormality Topic 5: 'Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders'

This is a pdf copy of a booklet I have put together for my Y13 students studying the ‘Psychology and Abnormality’ topic of the CIE A2 Psychology 9990 course.

This booklet covers the fifth topic ‘Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders’.

The booklet was initially intended to accompany my lesson slides but can be used standalone, without these lessons as it covers course content generally, however you cover it, without making specific reference to lesson slides. It could also be used as a revision booklet.

The only thing not included is answers to some cloze text exercises (these would normally be found on my slides) but these correspond to the course textbook so can easily be completed by the teacher, using the relevant section of the textbook!

Exam questions from past papers, along with relevant sections of mark schemes can be found throughout in order for students to self-assess their knowledge.

All textbook pages refer to the main course textbook ‘Cambridge International AS and A Level Psychology Coursebook’ by Russell, Lintern, Gauntlett and Davies.
