I was teaching the “Quadratics” chapter of the Year 12 A Level course and felt that given that it was all essentially in GCSE it seemed a little bit of a waste of time in places given that they should know it already, so I devised this sheet which would (hopefully) pinpoint the gaps so that we can just cover what we need to cover. It seemed to work, although the proof of the pudding is in the eating (of the next assessment). I see no reason why this couldn’t be used with some Year 11s too.
