7-book reading record with space for the date, title, author, genre, number of pages and rating. A quick and easy print out to encourage reading over the half-term or six week holidays, or even as a way to find out what sort of books the children in your class enjoy reading.

This would also be a useful resource for home educators wanting to keep track of books their children have read and the breadth of content.

This resource would provide a basis for discussions relating to the books they’ve read, how they will choose their book, any developing preferences, and reasoning for the ratings they gave. A list of potential questions are included in this resource to support teacher-led discussions or to be used for child-led group discussions.
