Simple Morning Maths Tasks to Evidence ARE in Year Two Maths

A set of 10 morning activities which, if completed, will provide evidence to support ARE or expected outcomes for Year Two Mathematics. There is a brief task to provide evidence for each of the ‘Pupil can…’ statements for working at the expected standard. The tasks are NOT intended to be used as a test, but to be ccompleted using resources where necessary. They will support teacher judgements and give you a clearer indication of whether a child has truly grasped each objective. In line with the 2019 assessment framework for the end of KS1.
