Summer Math Mystery (GRADE 5)

In this Summer Math Mystery Activity – Case of The Mathhattan Meltdown (GRADE 5 US Common Core Aligned) – students will find themselves trapped by the Scorcher who has been melting the city of Mathhattan this summer. In order to save themselves and to stop the melting issue in the city, they will be required to use their math skills to solve the mystery behind his condition and the cure he needs to restore to human! Engage and motivate your students during math time with this fun summer math mystery!

There are 5 clues to crack to solve the mystery:

Clue 1: Ordering Decimals (thousandths)
Clue 2: Measure Angles (protractor required)
Clue 3: Subtracting Decimals to the hundredths
Clue 4: Multiplication Word Problems (2-digit by 1-digit, and 2-digit by 2-digit, 3-digit by 1-digit, 3-digit by 2-digit numbers mix)
Clue 5: Adding Decimals to the hundredths

Pack also includes a mystery declaration sheet, answer sheets, elimination guide and awards.
