Students very quickly understand the concepts of reflections, rotations and symmetry when creating rangoli patterns. I always use this before starting the Transformations topic.
Powerpoint and worksheets guide students step by step in creating these patterns.
There was no notes with the ppt and it just contained the pictures from the worksheets, there was no descriptions for the pupils, and the strange blobs in the corners mean nothing without a lesson plan or notes to support it The worksheets were extremely basic and something that you could put together easily yourself. Definitely not worth the money.

I am sorry that you did not find it useful. None of my resources come with teaching notes as they need to be adapted to fit your teaching style. I stand by it being a very good method in getting students understanding the concepts of symmetry and rotation. <br />

The worksheets are simple which should be noticed from the previews. Depending on the ability of the class simple squared/dotted paper is good enough. For the really weak classes a printout of the grids help - the sole purpose of the worksheets. <br />

The powerpoint demonstrates clearly step by step with animation how to build a rangoli pattern. Students should be able to create their own patterns after the demonstration. Confident students can move onto the rotational patterns which are much harder (and also demonstrated step by step on the powerpoint). I can't think what else the strange Red, Amber and Green "blobs" in the corners could possibly indicate other than difficulty?<br />
