This resource is a complete 8-week KS3 unit on the planning and making of a patchwork teddy or “Tatty Teddy”. It uses as it’s basis the McCall’s free teddy pattern. A great project to use to inspire community outreach or create reading activities between early years and secondary. A great project to work on planning and time management skills because this is integral to meeting the deadline. This resource contains quality teacher and student examples. This resource is also EAL friendly as language is clear and is used in conjunction with visual imagery. Included is the vocab, the marking scheme and design for success worksheets.
