Template - Character Cards for Games (Set 3)

Enjoy using these character cards to design your own games for the classroom.

Pick and choose which characters you would like to use. Use the document as many times as you wish.

These cards can be used for any topic, but the characters are inspired by OS maps so work particularly well with OS map and atlas games.

The template is easy to adapt in Canva.

Delete the sample text and add your own. Print in PDF (print version) back to back.

Game suggestions:

OS map or atlas challenge - the characters have statements about the map or atlas on the back of their card. However, sprinkle in some lies and the students need to find the liars. *
Each character has a different topic of questions about the map or atlas on the back eg. grid references, distance, capital cities, rivers.
Give students blank cards and they can write their own questions or statements.
What you will receive: A PDF with both a link and QR code to the Canva document you can edit and adapt as many times as you like.

The document will contain 5 characters: Celina City-Tour, Patrick Pathfinder, Ursula Urban, Steven Survey and Thomasina Tour.
Each character has 6 cards per page.

The final page of the document is an ‘answer sheet’ you can also use.
