The Hurt Locker is a film that will work at National 3,4 and 5 for Critical Essay Media. A supported unit for pupils (National 5 S5 pupils who have completed Nat 4). Comes with activity sheet and fully supported CEL. Appeals to boys and girls (I designed it with a set of mainly S4 boys) and it worked really well. Pupils were very engaged in the film and the discussions around key moments.

Suitable for media studies-I’m using it for Film Studies,so had to adapt some of it. But a very good resource to use as viewing booklet or HW tasks
I think its a lot of money for little content.
