The “Pop” Game (Circle Game)
This is a classic high-energy game that requires focus and rhythm.
How to Play: Students stand in a circle. Decide what you are counting by (e.g., 2s) and a “Pop” number (e.g., 20).
The Action: Students go around the circle saying the next number in the sequence: “2,” “4,” “6…”
The Twist: The student who reaches the target number (20) doesn’t say the number; instead, they shout “POP!” and jump up. That student then sits down, and the game starts over at 2.
Why it works: It creates a “suspense” around the sequence and encourages students to calculate ahead.
