The 6 pre-recorded clips or 'Captain’s Announcements ', focus on the events of the day of the sinking of the Titanic. These short clips can be used to help structure a monologue, an improvised performance for a one off lesson, or a piece of creative writing.

You will receive:

• 6 Audio files; each a different announcement from a moment during the Titanic’s sinking. Please note that these were scripted by myself and saved as .mp3 files and therefore need a compatible system in order for them to be used.
• A transcript of each file with a description of the moment in the Titanic’s sinking timeline that it relates to.

Originally a part of a larger SOW where KS3 students were asked to test their characterisation skills by reacting in -role to a series of announcements; I have adapted this unique resource to be used as you see fit in your own teaching practice.
