This 5 lesson reviews scheme is designed to improve students’ metacognition skills. There is an emphasis on teaching the required skills individually and encouraging students to plan, monitor and evaluate their learning and progress. This was designed based on the EEF’s metacognition guidance report and will work well alongside the other metacognition schemes for transactional writing. There is also a skeleton feedback lesson that will allow you to provide feedback on the individual skills.
