The pack includes:
• 20 cards with regular and irregular verbs
• Translation activity
• Differentiated translation activity
• Answer sheets
• 5 different assessments
It covers the following topics and grammatical areas:
• Preterite
• Imperfect
• Double verbs
• Subordinating connectives
• Pronouns
• Time phrases
• Idioms (at the bottom of each image)
Advice for teachers
• The cards can be laminated and the flaps coloured and glued in. This would make them more durable.
• Ideally, students should be confident in their understanding of imperfect v. preterite
• Cards can be scattered around the room to make it more engaging.
• Students can be organised into groups and asked to focus on any set of 4 verbs (each sheet contains 4 verbs).
• Students can get together and check the quality of other pairs’ responses.
• There are tests designed as assessment opportunities to assess how much students remember.
