Understanding the World planning for Spring 1 - Kings, Queens and Castles
Each week we had a literacy book theme around a fairytale. The UTW work focused more on history and learning about a historical person.
This planning covers the following topics:
Winter (covering our theme of seasons from autumn 2)
King Charles is our King
A King has an army
A King and Queen live in a castle
A castle has a tower
The planning contains links to Development Matters and includes the adult led input for each topic and activities for the topic.
