A lesson looking at ‘should humans protect the world?’
Lesson objective: to understand and evaluate beliefs about the value of the world, the use and abuse of the environment, and ways it can be protected (including renewable energy).
Lesson prompts pupils to explore/consider what is amazing about the world and what they would change, using a video (linked) as a prompt; introduces them to the key terms for this topic, and includes discussion points around the use, abuse and protection of the world. Pupils then complete a double sided sheet on the use and abuse of the environment, for which they will need the AQA Christianity textbook (sheet could be easily edited).
