Volcanoes Accordion Booklet: is a fun hands on activity for students to use in their interactive notebooks. Students may research different facts about each type of volcano, lava, and pyroclastic flow, and write what they find on the provided blank lines. This booklet also doubles as a coloring book, as students may color in the different types of volcanoes. (Note: only the three types of volcanoes are available for coloring) A completed volcano booklet with answers is included.

This Volcanoes Booklet contains the following:

1. Assembly Instructions for the volcano booklet
2. Completed facts for each of the following vocabulary terms:
Shield volcano, Cinder cone volcano, Composite/ Stratovolcano, Aa lava,
Pahoehoe lava, Pillow lava, Volcanic Ash, Lapilli, Volcanic bomb, Volcanic block
3. Blank versions for students to write their own facts for each volcano vocabulary term
4. A smaller version of #1, 2, & 3 to fit smaller pieces of construction paper
5. Black and white versions of #1, 2, 3, and 4
