A wait visual using traffic light symbols, the black arrow can be positioned at the correct traffic light to show we need to wait for work to be finished, almost there or time to go.
It would be best to laminate and velcro, I have included a range of symbols to go at the bottom of the visual (what the child is waiting for) - obviously you can add your own motivator for the child.
