Why is there a fight over water in Africa? Excellent and engaging lesson on the 'Geopolitics' of water in Africa used with Year 9s but easily adapted for higher years.

Students focus in on the river Nile and consider the influence of Geography on development and conflict. Tasks include:

1. Defining water wars
2. Discussion on water flows and impact of development
3. Slide 4+5 video links and activity sheets
4. How does water create conflict vs co-operation spiderdiagram
5. Map showing dams and problems faced - could even be a description based activity

I was hoping for more resources and a more in depth PowerPoint for the £3 price. It's quite basic but something I can use to build upon to make a more detailed lesson. Thanks
