Weather and Climate: Unit of Work for Year 1/2

In lesson 5 children learn about desert regions including their location and climate. Children learn about plants and animals that live in the desert including the meercat and the saguaro cactus. Finally, in lesson 6 children learn about tropical rainforests including their location and climate. Children can conduct research into a rainforest animal of their own choice.
