This is a Year 7 lesson on weathering which is taught as part of a topic on rivers, but could be used as a standalone lesson. It focuses on three types of weathering: chemical (carbonation), biological and mechanical (freeze-thaw). If you purchase this resources you will receive a PowerPoint that contains an overview of the lesson including differentiated tasks, and an extension task. Within the PowerPoint there are slides that can be printed and used with the worksheets. There are 3 differentiated worksheets for LAP, MAP and HAP to be used in conjunction with the PowerPoint which focus on producing storyboards for the three types of weathering processes.
