My students were feeling a bit unsure about the different tenses that we have been covering in lesson so far this year. Therefore I created independent tasks for them to research the present, preterite and imperfect tense using the Viva GCSE textbook grammar pages.
These could be given as homework tasks if you photocopy the relevant pages from the textbook for the students or they could be given as independent work in lessons. I set two of them during lessons as this enabled me to go round and support students who were struggling with different aspects of the tense.
