Year 10 Product design-Modelling Lesson (Dragon’s Den)

This is a lesson planned I created for a QTS assessment and was graded outstanding. This is very detailed and easy to follow. Everything is differentiated and specifically designed to accommodate all in your class.

The approach I used was a typical DRAGON’S DEN scenario where students had to present their prototype product to other groups of 4 in the class.
Lesson Plan, Dragon’s Den questions, Next step emerging needs card included in Powerpoint as well as OCR Specs outlined for students to ensure that there is the suitable and correct amount of differentiation and assessments are achieved.

The OFSTED inspector loved the idea and was impressed with the deeper level of thinking I developed by conducting the lesson in such a way. My questionning techniques were also a key features the Inspector identified as outstanding.
