This interactive presentation includes 5 interesting and engaging lessons relating to Songs and Repetitive Poems based on the Year 2 National Curriculum scheme of work. This exciting week of learning involves pupils actively engaging in their learning through performances and song writing. They will focus on the song ‘London’s Burning’ paying particular attention to its repetition, syllables and its use of the present tense. Children will enjoy creating sentences in both the past and present tense after learning how to add the -ing suffix correctly.
