This complete Year 7 Mathematics Homework Programme gives you every Support, Core and Challenge booklet for the full academic year. It is a genuinely aligned mixed-attainment system: all three pathways follow the same 42-week curriculum sequence, while values, representations, scaffolding and reasoning demand change appropriately.
THE COMPLETE BUNDLE INCLUDES
- 18 Student Homework Booklets: six Support, six Core and six Challenge
- 18 matching Teacher Answer Booklets
- 36 PDFs in total
- 42 weeks of homework in each pathway
- 1,260 questions across the three pathways
- A full Year 7 progression ladder
- Marks and calculator status for every question
Each weekly homework contains ten questions: Questions 1-5 provide structured retrieval from earlier learning and Questions 6-10 concentrate on the current week’s main skill. This creates a dependable routine while preventing previously taught content from disappearing.
Support uses accessible numbers, helpful representations and carefully judged scaffolding. Core provides standard Year 7 demand with reduced support and broader representations. Challenge adds reverse processes, combined constraints, unfamiliar values, explanation and justification. Pupils therefore study the same mathematical idea without receiving identical or merely cosmetic versions of the same sheet.
Coverage runs from place value, integers and number sense through fractions, percentages, ratio, proportion and algebra; then into equations, sequences, angles, measures, geometry, transformations, data and probability. The final weeks provide cumulative synthesis and end-of-year mastery in preparation for Year 8.
Every question has a mark allocation and an explicit calculator or non-calculator label. Fractions are properly stacked, powers use genuine superscripts, missing-number tasks use visible answer boxes and diagrams are included only where they support the mathematics. The language is concise but never telegraphic or vague, using UK mathematical terminology consistent with KS3 teaching and the conventions pupils later meet in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics.
The matching teacher answer booklet is included. Answers provide the result together with concise working, a method cue or the reasoning needed for explanation questions, making the resource practical for marking, self-assessment, cover lessons and non-specialist supervision. The pages are professionally formatted for printing or digital distribution.
The structure also makes homework easier to manage across a department. Pupils meet the same page design, question numbering and expectations each week, while teachers retain the flexibility to choose the pathway that best matches each pupil or topic. Retrieval is not an added starter or optional extra: it is built into every homework, supporting retention and exposing gaps before they become embedded. The current-focus section then gives enough concentrated practice to reinforce the week’s teaching.
