This can be adapted and used across the curriculum. This ppt provides a template which can be turned into a sticker or simply printed and glued on to the front of an exercise book or on every tite page when a new topic begins in the exercise book. I have provided a bank of English targets, but these can be adapted to suit your subject area.

Post Marking Spelling Grid - Showing Progress in Exercise Books

This can be used across the curriculum. When you have marked a student’s exercise book or essay, it’s useful to get them to write out all of the spelling errors they’ve made and then ask them to glue that in on the following page to show that they are actioning their errors to make progress in ‘literacy’ in your subject area. It can be used weekly, once a half term or whenever an essay draft has been written.
