Food Tech: Utensils and Equipment Activities BUNDLE

Enable your students to understand cooking utensils and equipment as well as their use. This bundle contains both my utensil and equipment workbook and the activity pack, as well as a pack of 32 special picture cards. Use the PowerPoint to introduce all the vocabulary, then move your students on to the workbook or the board game for consolidation. Other resources include cue cards of all utensils and equipment introduced in the PowerPoint, a list of vocabulary and a document with suggestions for use. The special picture cards feature 16 pairs of utensils and what they are used for. Use these with your students for revision, consolidation, fun, pairs, snap, matching… as with most games, the opportunities are endless. :) Please kindly respect that it took a while to write up the enclosed sheets. This ‘Robot About Me’ art and writing activity, is a delightful first week back to school ice breaker and a really creative way for teachers and students to learn more about each other. Invite students to respond to prompts and questions in a personal and imaginative way, using doodles and words, to create a unique robot character. The pack also contains robot themed classroom decor and activities for early finishers. All About Me Back to School Pop Art Box & Task Cards

This ‘Pop Art Box About Me’ art and getting to know you resource, is a fun, first week back to school ice breaker for both girls and boys. It is a really creative way for teachers and students to learn more about each other. Invite students to create a unique ‘All About Me Box’, following the template prompts using Pop Art style doodles and words. Box prompts include: Age, name, grade, self portrait, favorite colors, favorite fruit, my top goal, I love… Students can then fill their boxes with a selection of question cards and work in pairs or small groups to explore their learning goals, aspirations, likes and dislikes. 36 question cards are included, along with blanks for students to have some fun and invent their own questions and games, for example, ‘Would you rather…’ Another task is to make a ‘card to myself’ with a message or goal, or a kind note for a friend. For example, students can give these to their teacher to open at the end of the year. The coloured, finished example included features a girl’s face. However the actual face template has a ‘generic bald head’ so both boys and girls can create a self portrait from this outline. Classroom Decor includes Pop Art inspired garlands and posters to colour and display. There are doodle pages to keep early finishers occupied. UK/Aus/Can spelling options of favourite and colour are included in the templates. Boxes measure 2.6 x 2.6 x 2.6 inches / 6.6 x 6.6 x 6.6cm when finished. The entire box template is designed to fit one sheet of US Letter or A4 sized paper. A larger box template is also included if you have access to an 11x14 or A3 printer. The finished boxes make a fabulous display, on the bulletin board, pegged up on a line as a garland or suspended from the ceiling with clear thread. Photographs of completed examples are included in the pack.
