Edexcel Catholic Christianity Beliefs and Teachings A3 Revision

(0)
Double sided A3 revision sheets for Catholic Christianity, Spec A. Created using the spec. One double sided sheet is blank, one is completed. Students should complete from memory and improve. I would recommend two different coloured pens in order to do this effectively. Students can then assess what they know and what they need to know. This lesson takes anywhere between 1 and 2 hours and is an ideal cover lesson as the correct answers bare ready for a supply teacher to refer to. Parents have also found this useful as the answer sheet can be used in order for them to support students with revision. Feedback is always appreciated. Therefore, if you leave a review we will send you a free resource as a show of our appreciation. The Talmud - Judaism - EDUQAS GCSE

This lesson explores the Talmud, it is designed to follow on from our lesson on the Tenakh. The Spec outlines that the Tenakh and Talmlud should be taught and applied to daily life in the ‘Practices’ unit. However, we planned this lesson to open the ‘Beliefs and Teachings’ unit and we can then explore how it is used in daily life throughout both units. We feel it is important that students understand the difference between the Christian Bible and the Talmud before applying them to Jewish teachings. The lesson focuses on the parts of the Talmud, it builds up to a C (Explain) and D (Discuss) Includes: starter slide (date/title, thinking task, flipped research homework) retrieval starter quiz with answers key words video clip sharing info true/false learning check exam practice b question - with full answer exam practice d question, already planned for students to expand challenge questions ‘packaway’ plenary Feedback is always appreciated. Eduqas Judaism Key Words/Concepts

A lesson to introduce the key terms in the Eduqas Judaism Unit. The lesson includes a variety of printable activities including a crossword and word search. I pair students up and ask them to complete these as a competition before begining the lesson (word search = LA, crossword = HA). Each slide contains the Spec definition alongside an activity and challenge question. Please note this would work perfectly well for Edexcel as an introduction lesson, as the spec covered the same topics. Includes: Word search Crossword KS3 recap (may need to adapt) Key terms and info slides True/False quiz Key word bingo (with extra key terms) “Guess What?” activity Challenge questions for fast finishers. Written answer title plenary Packaway reflection plenary Feedback is always appreciated. Therefore, if you leave a review we will send you a free resource as a show of our appreciation.
