This resource is designed to help aid making zig-zag style booklets in a range of subjects. The book includes lined pages with room for illustrations throughout and on the front cover and can be printed in A4 or A3.

A step by step guide to learning about positive and negative space and a step by step guide to creating a contrast feature piece of art work. Children can follow the on screen instructions and see how the picture builds up as they add more. This lesson creates a Stone Henge contrasted piece of work with a follow up extension. The steps use 2B to 6B pencils. This could equally be used as a painting exercise or as a collage exercise.

This step-by-step presentation looks at the tools and techniques needed to create dragon artwork. This can be used with upper and lower KS2 but could be extended using different mediums and using canvas too.

This resource includes an interactive lesson starter where children work in pairs or groups to guess the artifact. The PowerPoint includes the answers to the quiz, giving details about the artifacts as well as a slide to explain the activity. A full lesson plan is also included.

I have included the excel document which is formatted for parts of an image to appear as the student only if they enter the correct answer. This works really well for maths but can also be used along side written questions with A/B/C answers, for spelling tests or for assessment of understanding on a topic. I have included full instructions written on the excel document for how to edit the questions and answers to suit your needs. These are not included in the screenshot of the document.

This excel document includes 13 arithmetic questions aimed at LK2. As the correct answers are inputted parts of the image will appear, making the work self-marking. Questions can be changed in Google slides using conditional formatting.
