A detailed, differentiated and editable lesson which will last you roughly 4 x 20 minute sessions. This pack could be used over a week of Tutor Time, with literacy tasks, timeline/research tasks, creative tasks and clip tasks for classes to use on the run up to The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The quiz is easy to use, interactive and editable. It’s designed for secondary students. You could tweak it for upper KS2 if you wished.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee lesson for KS2 / KS3 (Year 7)
In this lesson, the students will explore the reasons why we are celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We will take a detailed look at the key milestones of Queen Elizabeth’s historic reign and reflect on what she means to the British people.
The students will order the key events in Elizabeth’s remarkable life, and in doing so create a decorative and informative Jubilee bunting garland. In our plenary task, the students will use their knowledge to design a commemorative Jubilee coin.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a video clip with accompanying questions, a chronological bunting activity with associated reflection task, and finally a ‘design a commemorative coin’ plenary task.
The lesson is well-differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, a detailed and colourful PowerPoint, clips with differentiated questions, clear measurable LOs and other activities. It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.

An assembly all about the importance of attendance and punctuality. It lasts around 15-20 mins (inc clip) and explores why excellent attendance is essential to gain good qualifications, linking this with having a successful and well-paid career in the future. It includes animations, a 6 minute clip, statistics, quotes and a little humour. It is intended to foster a ‘no excuses’ culture.

Safe and Positive Relationships PSHE lesson + planning resources, observed as 'outstanding' Includes : 1 hour PowerPoint, clip, worksheets, differentiated fully KS3/4 - also includes a written PSHE RSE Unit scheme of work outline plan, that this lesson is taken from. TWO HOUR LESSON Gangs, drugs and county lines / Drugs Education PSHE lesson - all you need to know, from how how young people are pressured to join, the slang, the risks and the reality. New video clip tasks now also added - interview with actual county line gangsters. This is a double, fully resourced PSHE lesson which introduces the concept of County Lines and how gangs exploit and groom young victims into joining the underground drugs networks, before exploring the reasons why young people join gangs and the consequences. Created for the new PSHE 2020 curriculum.

1 hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3 and created for the new PSHE 2020-22 DfE and PSHE Association Guidelines.
This editable and well-differentiated lesson serves as an introduction to consent, unwanted contact, personal space and inappropriate contact. The lesson introduces the hula-hoop personal space rule, uses child-friendly analogies to introduce consent, gives students numerous case studies to discuss (with a glossary of new terms to help them), offers literacy activities, clip tasks and much more.
All information needed to teach this is included within the PowerPoint, clip task and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

An achievement and aspiration assembly with a focus on achievement. It lasts about 15-20 minutes if clips are watched and questions asked too. The assembly emphasises the value of hard work in achieving your aims, explains why teachers always set high targets and gives inspirational examples of famous and non-famous success stories from people who have worked hard.
It has a couple of jokes thrown in too.

A fully-resourced 2 hour PSHE / RSE lesson which serves as an introduction to the difference between sex and gender and explores sexuality, identity, language (correct terms) and gender expression. Students will explore new key terminology before investigating the key components of identity and sexual orientation, why some people still find some of the ideas behind this controversial (such as pronoun use) and then educate other students on a trait they will be working on and presenting in small groups (all information needed is included).
This lesson is great to consolidate the PSHE 2020 spiral curriculum (especially for an LGBT+ unit) or for a Citizenship diversity unit. The lesson has been written for KS4 / KS5 (but there is nothing unsuitable for KS3) and is editable, so easy to adapt for your own PSHE planning.
The lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, detailed information sheets, differentiated challenge activities and worksheets, clips tasks with questions and a literacy / debate focus task. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.

A mental health awareness assembly with a focus on how to care for and manage your mental health. It lasts 15-20 mins (inc short clip) and explores why mental health issues are so prevalent in young people today, what the most common conditions are, the symptoms and causes and finally where and how you can access help. The slides shown are just a sample as the whole assembly follows a narrative revisiting the students on the cover slide.
