Dictados (Dictations) is an exciting new resource designed to support teachers to deliver dictations in Spanish from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. The resource comprises 45 different dictation activities. Each one has notes for the teacher, which include an overview of the activity, suggestions for preparing it, suggestions for follow-up activities, and the dictation transcript. There is also a pupil worksheet for each activity. The dictations cover single letters, syllables, words, phrases and sentences. They encourage students to practise and use their knowledge of phonics and the sound-spelling link, their reading and writing skills, their vocabulary, and their understanding of grammar.
