I developed this resource to help my students have something to talk about during tutoring sessions. Instead of the normal 'How was your day/What happened today?' questions, I created an easy scenarios for students to discuss. Students use a pair of dice to find the topic of conversation. For example, a RED die with a roll of 1 might mean the subject of the conversation is "JE" and a GREEN die with a roll of 4 might mean for the student to tell something that happened using the past tense. Included are: 1 easy game in English and 3 in French (with varying levels of difficulty)

This is a chart that shows students some of the spelling changes in -ER verbs. I originally created this for use with IMAGINEZ, Chapter 1

I created this study guide to help students organize what they have learned in my class. This is a packet that your students fill out as they study for the final exam. Included are areas for vocabulary words, a long section on verbs, as well as shorter sections on adjectives, adverbs, question words, quantities and object pronouns. The sections of the packet are short on purpose so students can see The Big Picture and not feel overwhelmed by the details.

A first introduction to adjectives that come before the noun. This is not an exhaustive look at these adjectives, but rather an introduction to BAGS. Included in this document/PowerPoint is a song (with lyrics I wrote!) to help students remember some of these adjectives. Included in the PowerPoint is a recording of the song. :)

Passé composé ou l'imparfait - un jeu (PPT) This PowerPoint is a game to play with the class to help students learn which adverbs are used in the passé composé and which are used in the imparfait.

This is an introductory PowerPoint to the passé composé. This PPT is long (52 pages) and is meant to be used over multiple lessons.

Included in this document are poems from 6 French authors/poets: de la Fontaine, Apollinaire, Desnos, Rimbaud, Verlaine and Prévert. This document can serve as a reference for students as they progress through the different levels of French. For example, starting in French 1, I have my students present poems from this booklet to the class for a grade. It's a great way to work on pronunciation.

This 3 page document helps students see the 'big picture' of object pronouns as well as the importance of prepositions when deciding which object pronoun to use. A flow chart I created leads students to the right choice of object pronoun until the process becomes automatic. The second resource is useful for introducing the topic of object pronouns in lower levels as well as a reference document for students in upper levels. An example is provided for each item.
