A very basic powerpoint that shows how to conjugate verbs (ER, IR, RE) STEP BY STEP

This is a chart that shows students some of the spelling changes in -ER verbs. I originally created this for use with IMAGINEZ, Chapter 1

The first document is a 7 page overview of the subjunctive. Student exercises are provided. The second document is a visual resource that helps students see the big picture of the subjunctive

I created this study guide to help students organize what they have learned in my class. This is a packet that your students fill out as they study for the final exam. Included are areas for vocabulary words, a long section on verbs, as well as shorter sections on adjectives, adverbs, question words, quantities and object pronouns. The sections of the packet are short on purpose so students can see The Big Picture and not feel overwhelmed by the details.

A first introduction to adjectives that come before the noun. This is not an exhaustive look at these adjectives, but rather an introduction to BAGS. Included in this document/PowerPoint is a song (with lyrics I wrote!) to help students remember some of these adjectives. Included in the PowerPoint is a recording of the song. :)

This is a great multi-level resource that students can use as a reference from one semester to another. The second resource is not an exhaustive examination of reflexive verbs, but the different kinds of reflexive verbs (reflexive, idiomatic and reciprocal) are explained, with examples. Additionally, examples of reflexive verbs in the negative, the imperative and in the passé composé help students to see the placement of 'ne...pas' and reflexive pronouns.

Online Homeschool documentation form for high school students YOU NEED THIS FORM! :) This is an online form your kids fill out to keep track of things they study. I am a former teacher who homeschooled her children through a few years of high school. I created this Google form so that we could have details about the things that each kid studied on a specific day. I used a separate form for each child. You are purchasing a link to the Google form that is on my Google Drive. There are instructions for how to make a copy of the form in this document. The form is easily customizable to your specific situation. Additionally, I have set up this form so that it will populate a spreadsheet so your child's answers are easy for you to monitor. In our house, each kid filled out the form at the end of their daily studies. This information is automatically saved, so at the end of your academic year, you have specific details about what happened each day. This form was more valuable than gold when I had to write the homeschool supplement for their college applications. As their teacher, I had to write a narrative of each of the topics they studied, giving as many details as possible. I was able to look back at the years of responses from this form and give a very accurate, thorough description of what the kids did. There was no guessing. There were no questions of "What did you do yesterday?" Both of my kids are currently attending their choice of college.
