Monsters Rocks Your students will love this cute little ‘Monster Rocks’ set of times tables. Each times table set has a different monster. The different ways to use Monster Rocks Times Tables Task cards - these make for great revision or practice. Answers can be printed and laminated back to back. This helps with durability and will last longer. Making them reusable. Games - Times table snap is a fun way to engage your students. Get them to work in pairs ( They will need a copy each of which ever times table they are practising) and when both students deal the same times table, the one who is able to answer the equation first wins. Homework - Revision homework. Can your students learn a specific set by the following week? Remember that they cannot move on to the next monster until they get them right from memory. Geometry all around us is an excellent add on to your geometry unit. For many of your students, geometry is purely and solely used and heard of in Math. This would be idea as a review as well as an introduction to ‘time telling.’ What is covered: 26 mixed slides of ‘half past’ and ‘o’clock.’ How to use This can be used as an individual activity or part of a group in a class. Simply click through each individual slide. This was used as part of a live online class and had great results with good feedback. This fraction game is all about getting your alien from the start box to the end box will be challenging. You will face set backs, challenging additions (there is often more than one correct answer), you could be forced to miss a turn and land on spaces which send you back a space or three. There is always the chance you will land on an occupied space and be forced to take a challenge card. This game is not for the faint hearted! Do you dare to take on the challenge? Can you get to the end of the game? This game is suitable from grades 4 to 6. Though those who are more able in grade 3 would find this fun and challenging and this fraction space game makes for an ideal intervention game for higher graders. Whats included and the prep work needed Space Fractions game – Print and laminate for durability. Space Fraction Rules Poster – Print and laminate. Your students can self access. Placing it near your math station or where the game will most likely played. Fraction card – There are 8 fraction cards which you will need to print and cut out. Fraction card covers – You have two options. Option 1 – Black and white or option 2 – Green background with blue writing.
