9Id Turning Forces - Exploring science levers and moments.

(1)
PowerPoint and resources for lesson on levers and moments based on Exploring Science unit 9Id Turning forces. The PowerPoint introduces levers and examples of everyday levers, practice identifying the load, effort and pivot before looking at how levers make it easier to do work. Includes a practical activity to look at the effect of moving the effort on balancing the load (we used bean bags), differentiated worksheets and moment calculation practice (these have been adapted from free resources available on TES) Made for a lower ability class but easily adapted.
