This is a story map worksheet that can be used within lessons when looking at storybooks as the main focus. This sheet can then be used children to sequence and write about the story.

This Year 2 lesson pack looks into 'forces', 'materials' and is cross-curricular with Design and Technology. The children will learn about forces (in particular air resistance) and learn about the force that the ground exerts that causes the egg to break. The children then need to design and wrap the egg in a protective packaging to see which materials are better at doing so.
