I have been teaching for 6 years, originally training in Science and covering a wide range of subjects since. I have tried to provide schemes of work for each area - I know as an NQT and when a subject was new to me, this is what was missing on TES! This is an independent learning activity for teaching energy resources. It was taken from the Practical Action website, but I have included my own PPT which is an adapted version of the activity. Students have to research different energy resources and decide which would be appropriate for the different island communities. It encourages teamwork, independent learning and problem solving.
