Senior Teacher of Design at a large comprehensive school in the West Midlands. Moved to the school as HoD in charge of setting up the department from scratch in 2013, since then it has gone from strength to strength and this year, due to pupil progress and popularity, design has become a core subject with 200 students in Year 10 with an opting 6 form of over 50 students studying product design. Our results are consistently the highest in the school with product design progress 8 score of over +1.5 last year, contributing over +0.2 to the whole school score.
