Age of Enlightenment Chairs

This is a fun activity where students get to engage with Age of Enlightenment beliefs and begin to debate our natural rights. It is great for getting conversation going and for helping students to better interpret Enlightenment ideas. The lesson is a play on Philosophical Chairs where the students are asked to share whether they agree, disagree or are unsure. The point is to see if they can be moved to change their opinion through discussion and debate.
