This pack has two PowerPoints that explain how to put past perfect tense verbs in to the negative form. The first PowerPoint goes through forming the negative with n'/ne and pas for all verbs except reflexives. It then goes on to introduce ne ... rien/ jamais/plus/que. Each section has a range of exercises to complete and there is a worksheet to accompany the PowerPoint. These exercises include a reading comprehension and transition exercises, important to start early on, ready for the new GCSE specifications. The second PowerPoint follows a very similar format for reflexive perfect tense verbs and has exercises to complete. These presentations compliment my Complete Guide to Past Perfect Tense Verbs, following a tried and tested method.

This is a set of resources to introduce and practice telling the time in Spanish, both with the 12 and 24-hour clock. The PowerPoint initially introduces the o’clock times with practice opportunities and then goes on to minutes past the hour. There are plenty of speaking practice activities, true/false activities and writing practice. The PowerPoint then goes on to minutes to the hour with practice and then further practice of the 12-hour clock and some O/X games that can be played in two class teams. The 24-hour clock is then introduced with a whole range of practice activities, as with the 12-hour clock. To accompany the PowerPoint there is a worksheet for all the 12 activities, which are easily editable. Pupils will gain a good knowledge of telling the time in Spanish, and will be able to both recognise time and tell the time.

This is a set of resources to introduce and practice 22 places in the town and lots more. The PowerPoint initially introduces places in the town items in 2 sections, each with practice exercises, along with their plural forms. The resource is easily adaptable if you want to introduce less. There is a wide range of activities on the PowerPoint and on an accompanying worksheet. ‘Es gibt einen, eine, ein’ is introduced and ‘es gibt keinen, keine, kein’ with practice activities. There are reading comprehensions, translations, true/ false activities, match ups, fill the blanks. The idea of what you can do with ‘man kann’ is also introduced and practiced. Pupils will gain a good knowledge of a wide range of places in the town, and will be able to recognise and use them in a range of situations. The PowerPoint can be used for pupils to copy from in order to form accurate grammar/ resource notes in their books, which they can then refer back to when working individually to form the conditional tense. This is a set of 28 question cards and 28 answer cards to get your pupils speaking to each other in German and great to use as starters for target language practice. They include questions about name age, likes, favourites, preferences, family, daily routine, and many more. These fun colourful cards can be printed and cut into individual question and answer cards to be used in several different ways, depending on the ability and confidence of your students: Both question and answer cards can be given to students in pairs to practice a conversation. (Easier level) Question cards only given to pairs to practice a conversation. Students will need to form their own answers. (Middle level) Students are only given the answer cards and need to use these to form the relevant questions. (Harder level) It is essential that pupils can ask questions (not just answer them). This is a set of 30 role-plays in a printable format to use for mock/ preparation/ class practice for speaking exams. These are all based on Theme 2 – Local, national international and global areas of interest. They have been compiled by studying exemplar materials given by all exam boards. There are 15 foundation tier and 15 higher tier role-plays. There is a teacher’s pack for each set of role-plays, giving the teacher’s part for each conversation. This fun Easter resource gives lots of information about Easter traditions in France in English. It then goes on to introduce 10 Easter related words in French, followed with a match-up activity, anagrams and a word search. Pupils are then asked to make a French Easter card, with lots of examples and there are 5 templates that can be printed and used. Each template has ‘Joyeuses Pâques’ and an Easter picture to colour. This resource is to actively practise and use the 3 past tenses – imperfect, perfect and pluperfect. It goes through a revision of each tense with exercises to check comprehension for each tense and an accompanying worksheet. Then the main text is introduced which is part of a ‘mysterious story’. This is first as a listening activity with two different exercises to complete and a worksheet. The text is then used as a reading comprehension with a range of questions, grammar and writing activities to complete. The final writing activity involves creative writing, as students need to provide their own ending to the mystery. Answers to activities are on the PowerPoint. This should certainly take two – three lessons.

This document is in the format of worksheets/ a booklet that can be given to all GCSE students. It is broken down into themes and then into the topics within each theme. For each topic there are 10 translation exercises, as on the Reading Exam. It is contains in total 120 translations of varying lengths and levels of challenge.
