Worksheet 1 - to 5 degrees Worksheet 2 - to 1 degree + answers + clipart

A program (in Adobe Flash) that displays the factors/factors pairs for all the numbers 1-100 Really useful factor related activities and for checking worksheet answers. Lots to discus with the students. Same colour coding as my FREE Factor Banner/Poster which, at the moment, is my one of my most popular downloads. Should work on the touch of an interactive whiteboard . Flash should work on most computers/laptops and I have had this working through Internet Explorer. Includes 2 worksheets for all the students to write their answers on. I WOULD SUPPLY PLENTY OF SCRAP PAPER I have included a menu driven PowerPoint with an answer for each number (0-100). Including every possible answer for each number would probably be impossible. I have only had a few students get anywhere near completing the worksheet. It has worked well when a table of students have collaborated on the task. The most important learning objective, for me is that once they get an answer for a number that they use it to generate other answers in a somewhat methodical fashion. eg say they stated with 4!+4+4+4=36 go on to 4!+4+4-4=28, 4!+4-4-4=20, 4!-4-4-4=12 4!+4+(4-4)=29 4!+4+(4x4)=44 4!+(4x4x4)=88 etc etc A GOOD ACTIVITY FOR on or near STAR WARS DAY (May the 4th)

Full set of working + ANSWERS. In the zip files there are the unnumbered CLIPART PDF versions of all the questions and answers so that you can insert them in your own PowerPoints, Worksheets and or Notebook files etc. Should scale up without loss of quality. I hope colleagues and students find these useful. I have double, no quadruple checked these worksheets and was still finding the odd ‘rogue’ letter or number that was in error. I believe they should be ‘good to go’ now but please accept my apologies if I have missed correcting any small mistakes.

A 2 page worksheet that involves using ALGEBRA Handout and PowerPoint to show use of Pascal’s Triangle. Some knowledge of algebra (simple addition, collecting terms) a prerequisite. I suggest letting students try the worksheet before mentioning Pascal’s Triangle and they should notice the link.

Find the angles in a triangle using their ratios. Use the worksheets but I can see the CLIP-ART probably being more useful as all 108 questions are included as separate files that can be used in your own worksheets/Powerpoints/Whiteboard files.
