BA Hon’s Visual Studies, PGCE qualified Art and Design Teacher with over 10 years’ experience in the teaching field. Before this I worked for over two years as a learning support teaching assistant within a large SEN department where students had a complex range of needs. I have a broad knowledge of teaching children of different ages in different settings. I have taught Art and DT to GCSE level. I’ve run lunchtime art and Lego clubs, supported the running of toddler groups, have experience of alternative educational settings such as a Hospital school room and a P.l.O.T farm setting. I’ve run primary school art workshops and made designs for fabric, cards and jewellery. I have had many interesting challenges in my working life, I am excited about future projects to undertake.
