Children develop collage skills as well as understanding of Tudor houses and materials used to build them as part of the Great Fire of London Topic. Children then look at paintings of the Great fire of London, thinking about secondary sources, and then paint atmospheric fiery pictures to form the background of a display.

Simple now and then sentence writing activity for children to compare entertainment 100 years ago and now at the seaside. Second page has images for ideas; some may provoke discussion. Children can either choose two favorite / images to cut and paste on page 1 or copy them into the image boxes.
