Interactive power point introducing numbers from 21 to 29 with blockbusters game to practise them. Goes on to teach numbers 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 followed by slide with numbers which can be used orally or in writing, for recognition or production depending on pupils.

Wordsearch contains 20 different words which children have to find and write out (no clues!). I found this really helps them focus on word endings (like the final e in Erdbeere etc).

Smart board activities to revise gender of different pets and introduce and then practise simple sentences saying Ich habe + pet (singular only).

Pair activity. Children have two different texts to read to each other. As they listen, they fill in the words missing in their own version of partner's text.Name, age, family, hobbies, appearance and where they live.

Children often struggle to identify verbs in sentences especially when the verb consists of more than one word. This powerpoint looks at: verbs in their simplest forms - eg. I have a brother verbs that might not really look like verbs because they do not seem very active - eg. he is in the bathroom verbs that are made up of more than one word and an explanation of the terms** auxiliary verb** and** main verb** It is interactive and you can ask the children to answer questions individually or to work in pairs on longer more creative activities.
