This resource contains 12 open response questions (40-50 word reviews) for the new French GCSE (first exams 2026), complete with model answers. It is a downloadable resource, in both Word Document and PDF formats. I have covered as many of the topic areas for the new Edexcel French GCSE as possible (see accompanying photo of the contents list for details) – however, topics are limited to what can feasibly used as reviews in this context and some topics have more than one example question, such as food and drink or accommodation. In the model answers, I have only used vocabulary that is included in the prescribed vocab list for Foundation, to ensure that students can practise using the key language needed for this GCSE.
