My class loved using this as an alternative to the usual chocolate advent calendar in the run up to Christmas. Pupils choose from 15 festive pictures, behind which are school-based rewards, such as ‘sit next to your bestie’ or ‘choose the lesson’. As a downloadable powerpoint file, it can be personalised to suit your own class. You could even have pupils design their own rewards, or vote for their favourites to be included more than once. Some rewards could be individual while others could be whole-class based. You could also use a name randomiser to select a pupil each day, or vote for a ‘pupil of the day’ to give the reward to.
