WJEC 2016 English language exam preparation and tasks

(1)
A simple power point presentation split in to thirds: -1/3 - an overview of the exam -2/3 - exam paper one tasks and explanation -3/3 - exam paper two tasks and explanation. The power-point has links to the two articles I have used in the presentation. I take no credit for a section on the last third as I found it online. Feel free to edit for your own needs Update 12/02/2017 --> this power point does not follow the new specification of 2017 and is the old version of the same exam. Updates will come later in the year as I teach the new specification to my students.

A 76 slide power point packed with information about the Treaty of Versailles and The Weimar. The presentation comes with worksheets and posters for activities. The presentation does need verbal reinforcement and more activities but I have left that for you to decide for your own class. -The presentation includes: -An exam question -A political spectrum sort -Mind maps -Complete the table activities -Questions -Class discussions Some of the subjects covered in the presentation are: -Statistics after WW1 -The Treaty and Woodrow Wilson's fourteen points -The Weimar in comparison to the British political system -the Spartacists -The Kapp Putsch -Hyperinflation -Stresemann -The Great Depression Apologies for any SPaG or historical errors you may find (fingers crossed there is none). Feel free to edit for your own needs. Enjoy! *Note - Many of the pictures you see may be from the political spectrum sort, these do not feature in the presentation (they will just be A4 sheets with political related names on)

A mind-map for revision before the WJEC English language 2016 exam. The mind-map is on one page but contains information about both papers, question types and writing formats. This would be a good guide for before the exam or during practice in class. Sorry for any mistakes, please feel free to leave your opinion and any constructive criticism. Racism and Immigration 1950s - 1970s Posters

Eight posters on a PowerPoint presentation containing information about Racism and Immigration in Britain 1950 - 1979. These posters follow the old Edexcel History A GCSE for The Transformation of British Society 1950 - 1979 but they do not contain any specific information for this syllabus. As well as making great Posters they can be turned into a revision guide or as a revision PowerPoint. Pin the Nazi Ideal on the Woman - Nazi Women game

(0)
A fun game to help students revise or learn the Nazi ideals of a woman. There are 19 statements included, half are Nazi the other half are "Notzi", the class have to decide which woman the statement belongs in. Then one student tries to pin it on the correct woman wearing a blind fold. For a simpler game the "Notzi" woman and statements could be taken out.
