I have been teaching since 2005 having worked in the design industry as a product designer. I have a passion for producing resources of the highest standards that will make an impact in the classroom. Over the past 10 years I have produced a large catalog of resources that have been used successfully in the classroom. Each resource has taken time to produce as they are all sequenced step by step animated resources allowing you to move forward or back to meet the needs of all learners.

This is an Isometric drawing project that I have produced to develop students attention to detail and their ability to sketch confidently in isometric. This includes step by step animated tutorials that show students how to construct Isometric sketches of the Lego man components. Each slide has several animated images that appear when clicked. I have created several sequenced stages that appear when you click. It works very well in the class room as you can move forward and backwards when needed. You will not be disappointed with this resource. It has been tried and tested with GCSE and A Level students.

Isometric drawing tasks

Isometric drawing tasks: These tasks have worked really well for me to get students to develop their attention to detail and understanding of the Isometric drawing technique. Task: Using Isometric paper or a drawing board and a 30 degree set square you must draw each of these solids to the correct scale on to A3 paper. EXTENSION: Assuming a light source from above and to the left, carefully render each solid using colouring pencils.

One Point Perspective Drawing and Rendering You must produce an accurate One Point Perspective drawing of three cuboids. You must use a sharp pencil and draw light lines at all times. Use a ruler to draw all straight lines. You must shade each cuboid using the Light, Medium and Dark, shading technique. Success Criteria: Use a sharp pencil to draw light lines at all times Vertical and Horizontal lines drawn using a ruler. Construction lines must go to the vanishing point. Rendering Light, Medium and Dark tones Shading should not go outside the lines Shading should be in the same direction Shading should be neat and even without any patches
